Popular podcaster Joe Rogan has slammed public support for Lindsay Clancy and has called out the people who are defending her.
Joe Rogan has criticized people who continue to support Lindsay Clancy amid the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the Massachusetts mother accused of killing her three children.
On September 1, 2026, Rogan released a new episode of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, featuring comedian Brian Simpson. During their conversation, the two discussed the trial and the public reaction surrounding Clancy.
At one point, Rogan turned his attention to people who have expressed support for Clancy and argued that their view could change if they had witnessed the alleged killings themselves. He suggested that someone who believes Clancy should be released might feel differently after seeing what happened firsthand:
“If those ladies could see the crime scene and see those dead kids with their f****** vacant eyes staring up ’cause their mother took their life, the last f***** thing that they saw was their mother standing over them, choking them to death. I don’t think they would feel so bad.”
Then Rogan also questioned how a person could carry out an act involving their own children:
“More of these things where you’re like, people are showing up in support of a woman who killed her children. I don’t care how rough it was. The ability to kill your children is crazy. That’s a level of crazy that anyone who has kids, you know how much you love them, what you would do to save them, what you do to protect them from harm.”
Joe Rogan Shifts Focus to Crime While Discussing Lindsay Clancy Trial
During the same September 1, 2026, episode, Rogan and his guest spent part of the discussion talking about the Clancy case. However, at one point, Rogan suddenly changed direction and began discussing the broader issue of crime.
Rogan started looking at the factors that could lead to lower crime rates and what could make communities safer:
“Just imagine how much less crime there would be if no one was ever starving, no one was ever desperate, no one was ever worried about where their next meal was gonna come from or whether or not they’re gonna have a roof over their head. What if there’s no more poverty? We could’ve already done that. But you would have to get all those rich people that are in charge of industry and running corporations and in government to agree to make the world a better place for everybody.”
