In Chapter 4 of Halloween: The Game, Michael stalks teenage babysitters, planning their demise. One of the challenges that will give you extra customization options for your player options and your profile is to strangle Annie in the car. Unlike other challenges where you can just find the right place and trigger it once you have them caught, you have to make this one happen at a very specific time.
How to Strangle Annie in the Car (Chapter 4 – Challenge #1)
Once the parents have left, and Annie is in charge, Michael’s next mission is to go to the Wallace house. When you approach, you see a cutscene of Annie on the phone with a friend while Michael watches outside. After the cutscene, you get the mission to Kill Annie.
Be patient and wait for her to come outside to do the laundry in the detached room in the backyard; then the phone will ring. Once Annie answers the call, a new cutscene begins, and she will go across the street with the child she’s babysitting to drop her off to watch scary movies with friends. Now, just wait for Annie to come back to the outside of the house.
The Wallaces do have a dog outside that will bark at and attack you, so be cautious with where you step.
Spawn across the street from the house while Annie goes straight to the car. Go around the other side of the house to get to the car from the back. Before she gets in, she goes back into the house through the front door. Wait for her to go back inside and go to the car in the driveway and select Hide Inside before she comes out to avoid being spotted.
It doesn’t matter which door you get in; it will automatically put you in the back seat either way, and she won’t see you as she approaches the car or gets in the driver’s side door.
When Annie sits down, you don’t have to do anything to make the kill happen. Michael will automatically do this once the door is shut, then you will appear outside the car with Annie in hand, standing in the driveway. Take her upstairs inside the house and get ready for the next targets of Chapter 4.
