Tesla CEO Elon Musk is considering suing podcast host Jennifer Welch over the recent comments she made about him.
On October 19, 2026, progressive commentator Jennifer Welch discussed America’s prioritization of Russia, during which she spoke about billionaire tech CEO Elon Musk’s role in the Republican Party. She called the Tesla founder a “white nationalist” and an “untreated drug addict.” Welch accused Musk of undermining America by allegedly dismantling its soft power.
She also argued that Musk would “tilt” the U.S. government toward autocracy and authoritarianism. She further argued that the United States could become complicit in war crimes against Ukraine. During an episode of her podcast, she said this at the 8:25 mark:
“We, the United States, have given these tech oligarchs one man, Elon Musk, who is a white nationalist, who is a ****, who does back-to-back Sieg Heils, who is an untreated drug addict, spends all of his free time on X. He is denigrating American business and the American brand because now, how many decades is it going to take to restore the United States from this? We allow one man to come into the United States government, dismantle all of our soft power via the USA ID, and now he owns this company, Starlink, that is incredibly powerful, and he will tilt the scales towards autocracy, towards authoritarianism, towards war crimes against our alleged ally, which Ukraine is supposed to be our ally.”
A snippet of the broadcast was clipped and posted by X user @Ifind*******, who suggested that Musk should sue the podcast host over her comments. In response, Musk wrote:
“You’re right.”
On September 11, 2026, Jennifer Welch shared her thoughts on Elon Musk and the Republican Party’s views. She criticized the party’s pro-life stance and discussed Musk’s role as a father. She said:
“It’s important the Democrats’ message that this stuff about, ‘We’re so pro-life and we’re so pro-family’ is b*******. They’re liars. They are lying. Elon Musk is the biggest deadbeat dad on the globe. There’s not a bigger deadbeat dad than Elon Musk, and I want Republicans to start applying their religious sanctimony equally across the board.”
Her comments prompted a response from Musk, who said:
“No one has provided for their children more than I have. She is as ugly on the inside as she is on the outside.”
