EA FC 27 has custom Career Mode challenges made by YouTubers and the community

EA FC 27 Career Mode is set to introduce Creator Challenges where players and streamers can create their own custom objectives and share them around.

Every new Manager Career Mode save brings something different, whether you’re taking control of a global powerhouse and assembling a team of superstars, or trying to take your favorite lower-league club from rags to riches.

But with FC 27, the community has the oppertunity to get creative and think up their own unique objectives to keep the mode feeling fresh throughout the year.

FC 27 Career Mode will have creator “takeovers”

Creator Challenges can be made and shared through a portal that will be available on the mobile app or PC, allowing fans to dream up their own objectives to complete in-game. These could range from building a title-winning team made up purely of youth players or preventing a club from spending a penny and still earning promotion on the hardest difficulty.

Once created, they can be shared with friends and communities using a unique code, and the challenges that are well-received could be selected by EA and added to the game for everyone to see.

The devs also confirmed that they will be partnering with real content creators to develop some official Creator Challenges, which will bring exclusive rewards, such as kits based on the streamer or personality that set it.

At a preview event attended by Dexerto, Senior Game Design Director Pete O’Donnell explained that he wants these “takeovers” from creators to produce challenges that are outside the box.

“We hope they’re going to create amazing challenges [that are] different from what we’re thinking,” he said. “Whether that’s creators promoting their challenges or some guy in his bedroom or on Reddit, and he gets 1,000 people playing it, we [want to] bring that in as well.”

This is just one of the many changes coming to Career Mode this season, including more realistic transfers and dynamic overall ratings. Fans can try it out for themselves when the EA FC 27 Closed Beta arrives on August 5.
