Blueface arrested at gunpoint while wearing Mr. Incredible costume during livestream

Rapper Blueface was arrested in Santa Clarita, California, while wearing a Mr. Incredible costume after deputies responded to a report of a man pointing a gun at someone.

The incident happened Monday night at a business in Valencia, part of Santa Clarita. Deputies received the call at around 7:43 p.m. and detained several people, including Blueface.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office claimed Blueface refused to follow police commands and was arrested for delaying the investigation. Deputies later determined there was no armed man at the business and classified the call as a swatting hoax.

Local outlet SignalSCV identified the location as Yard House and reported that Blueface, whose legal name is Johnathan Porter, was the person detained. Porter was wearing a Mr. Incredible costume when Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies approached him.

Footage from Blueface’s Kick livestream shows officers approaching the group with their guns drawn while the rapper raises his hands and argues with them. Blueface, his fiancée Chrisean Rock, his child, and his friends were dressed in superhero costumes for the night.

Blueface’s fiancée and child were present during Monday’s incident and Rock was seen crying after learning that the rapper would be taken to jail.

The latest arrest comes as Blueface remains on probation connected to a 2022 Las Vegas shooting case. He was released from prison in November 2025. Blueface was booked into Los Angeles County Jail, though details about his court date and any formal charges were not immediately available.
