McDonald’s is adding two new value offers to its menu, giving customers cheaper ways to pick up breakfast or a Big Mac meal for a limited time.
The fast food chain is offering a $5 Sausage McMuffin with Egg Meal alongside an $8 Big Mac Meal as part of its Extra Value Meals lineup.
The deals arrive as McDonald’s continues to put a bigger focus on value, including a recent promotion that dropped the price of one of its popular breakfast sandwiches to just $2.
McDonald’s adds $5 and $8 Extra Value Meals
The $5 breakfast option includes a Sausage McMuffin with Egg, a hash brown and coffee. McDonald’s is also offering an $8 Big Mac Meal with the chain’s signature burger, fries and a drink.
Both are being promoted as limited-time Extra Value Meals, though McDonald’s has not specified how long the pricing will be available.
The latest offers follow McDonald’s recent $2 breakfast sandwich deal, which gives customers a chance to grab a breakfast sandwich on its own at a discounted price.
That promotion put the Egg McMuffin at the center of McDonald’s latest value push, and the new $5 meal expands gives customers access to a whole meal at the discounted price.
The new value deals also arrive just days before McDonald’s launches its SpongeBob SquarePants and One Piece crossover Happy Meal on September 15.
The limited-time promotion brings the two franchises together with 15 collectible toys, including SpongeBob as Luffy, Patrick as Zoro and Squidward as Sanji.
