A viral gaming toilet designed to let Fortnite players avoid bathroom breaks has resurfaced in a $500 Facebook Marketplace listing after its seller claimed it had been used almost every day for years.
Dubbed the “Battle Bucket,” the homemade setup consists of a folding chair with a hole cut through its seat, an orange bucket underneath and a separate tube intended for urination. Images from the listing have attracted more than four million views on X.
The unusual gaming chair appears to be the same design popularized in a viral 2023 TikTok from creator usecodelitty200iq, complete with a G FUEL sticker attached to its seat.
“This is how I can play Fortnite for so long without going to the bathroom,” the creator explained in the original video, which has since been deleted but continues to circulate through reposts.
Seller claims Battle Bucket has been “thoroughly cleaned”
According to the listing, the Battle Bucket’s owner is asking $500 despite claiming to have used it regularly for several years.
“I’ve had this for a few years and have used it almost everyday,” its description reads. “Has been thoroughly cleaned and works beautifully.”
The seller also insisted that they would only entertain serious offers, adding: “NO LOWBALLS I KNOW WHAT I GOT.”
It remains unclear whether the Marketplace listing is genuine or a joke using images from the original viral clip. However, that has not stopped gamers from examining the Battle Bucket’s design in surprisingly close detail.
Multiple responses questioned why the tube connects so close to the bottom of the bucket, arguing that its placement would prevent the bucket from being filled without liquid backing up through the hose.
The setup also spread to Reddit, where one commenter suggested that a “true battle bucket” would require a padded toilet seat and a larger opening.
Esports organizer adds Battle Bucket to banned items list
The listing eventually caught the attention of UK gaming and esports event organizer EPIC.LAN, which joked that it was “adding this to the list of banned items at LAN.”
Other comments joked that the owner was selling the chair just in time for GTA 6, while one commenter declared themselves the “first of my bloodline to read this sentence.”
