On November 6, 2026, President Donald Trump said he would work with states that want Super Intelligence. The president made the statement on his Truth Social account and strongly believes this will have economic benefits.

“As President, I am 100% in favor of Super Intelligence (SI), and will work with the many States in the U.S. that want to become RICH by having them. They are GOLD, and only foolish leadership will say ‘NO’ to the riches they bring! President DJT”

The president has spent his second term promoting the technology and its new name. He revoked Joe Biden’s 2023 AI safety order on his first day in office. In July 2025, the White House published an AI Action Plan. A September 2026 executive order told agencies to use “Super Intelligence” and “SI.” His administration has set up a Super Intelligence Force. Other than expressing optimism for this opportunity, the president claims it would be foolish to deny the ‘riches’ SI would bring.

Trump’s economic argument is that hosting SI makes a state rich. Data centers bring construction work, power demand, and a broader tax base, and he wants governors competing for them. The Daily Signal reported that exit polling showed data center-related concerns and AI in general influenced voters during the midterm election. SemiAnalysis puts Texas at 41% of new US data center capacity in 2028, according to Axios.

President Trump made the statement days after Democrats won the House and the Senate on November 3, 2026. Nearly two dozen data center measures across ten states were also headed for approval, Axios reported. Two days later, investors dumped chip and AI shares on fears of tighter rules. The Nasdaq fell 5.52%, and the S&P 500 fell 4.36%, their worst day since April 2025. Trump blamed Democrats for the sell-off. Regardless of how the elections ended, President Trump is not slowing down with Super Intelligence and is eager to work with states that share a similar opinion.
