When you rebirth, the required cash is deducted from your current balance, and you immediately gain the +5% multiplier. You keep every animal, zoo, coil, and upgrade you had before. Nothing is lost except the cash cost.
When To Rebirth
Rebirth as soon as you can comfortably afford the cost without gutting your ability to continue upgrading. A good rule of thumb is to rebirth whenever you have at least double the required cost in your balance so the deduction does not stall your progression toward the next zoo or animal upgrade.
Each +5% stacks on top of your current total. Ten rebirths give you a +50% cash multiplier. Twenty gives +100%. The more you rebirth the faster your animals generate cash, which in turn makes it faster to afford the next rebirth, creating a self-reinforcing income loop.
