Roblox YouTuber MeganPlays is being flooded with paid messages from fans after revealing she can no longer afford therapy while responding to former best friend Leah Ashe’s apology over her relationship with Megan’s ex-husband.
MeganPlays and Leah Ashe are two of the biggest creators to emerge from the Roblox community, with approximately 3.7 million and 5 million YouTube subscribers respectively. The pair were previously close friends and even created Roblox videos together through their Girls Club channel.
Megan married fellow YouTuber Zach Letter, better known as AviatorGaming, in 2019, and the couple welcomed their daughter Clover in July 2024.
Their marriage fell apart in 2025 after Megan accused Zach of cheating with Leah, who had been one of her closest friends. Megan subsequently announced that she and Zach were divorcing, while Zach and Leah continued their relationship.
Nearly a year later, both women have now uploaded lengthy YouTube videos directly addressing the scandal.
Leah Ashe apologizes amid YouTube return
In an apology video uploaded to YouTube, Leah acknowledged betraying Megan after spending months largely silent about the controversy.
“In October of last year, I deeply betrayed Megan’s trust and hurt her,” she said. “I crossed a line that can never be uncrossed.”
Leah described her decisions as “selfish, inconsiderate, disgusting, horrible and vile,” and publicly apologized to Megan, adding that she would also like the opportunity to apologize to her directly.
However, Leah also confirmed that she remains in a relationship with Zach.
“I know there’s a lot of rumors regarding Zach and I’s relationship and why I’m still in the relationship, but I want to assure you guys that I am choosing to be in this relationship and I’m not trapped,” she said.
Leah explained that she was addressing the situation ahead of returning to regular YouTube uploads, saying that making content is something she still loves doing.
Megan responded soon afterward with a nearly 30-minute video of her own.
MeganPlays says she can no longer afford therapy
In her response, Megan accused Leah of “home wrecking my marriage,” while stressing that she considers Zach equally responsible for what happened.
Megan said the divorce and subsequent custody arrangement have dramatically changed her life, claiming the situation has resulted in her losing half of her time with her daughter, her home and, most recently, her insurance.
“So, I can’t even go see my therapist anymore because it’s too expensive and I can’t afford it,” she said.
The admission prompted an extraordinary response beneath the video, with viewers sending Megan paid YouTube Super Thanks messages alongside their comments in an apparent effort to help her financially.
Megan also pushed back on suggestions that she should simply move on from the controversy, explaining that the consequences continue to affect her daily life.
“People want me to move on, and I can’t because this does not move on from me,” she said.
Later in the video, Megan provided a lengthy account of the breakdown of her friendship with Leah and marriage to Zach, including screenshots and a voice recording she said was taken during the immediate aftermath.
She also urged her viewers not to harass Leah or Zach and explicitly condemned violence against them, particularly because her daughter spends time with her father.
Megan instead asked supporters not to engage with Leah’s comeback videos at all, arguing that even dislikes and angry comments can boost the videos through YouTube’s algorithm.
“Doesn’t matter if it’s positive or negative attention,” she said. “Let her evaporate. Make her invisible.”
The new videos have reignited the controversy across TikTok, YouTube and Reddit, months after the initial breakup dominated discussion within the Roblox creator community.
