Streamer Tectone claims VTuber Ironmouse is 40 years old with a 19-year-old daughter. Here is what we know about the viral rumors.
Controversial streamer Tectone has made a startling claim about popular VTuber Ironmouse, alleging she is nearly 40 years old and has a 19-year-old daughter.
Tectone went live on Rumble on August 27, 2026. The stream began casually, with Tectone chatting with his audience before he started browsing videos on X. During that segment, he came across an old clip of Ironmouse speaking with another person.
In the clip, Ironmouse was using an older avatar model and appeared to say she was a mother with a 10-year-old daughter.
Tectone then turned to the Ironmouse page on the Virtual YouTuber Fandom wiki as he was curious to know when the clip was broadcast. There, he found that the avatar seen in the video matched the model Ironmouse used back in 2017.
Tectone calculated that if the daughter was 10 years old in 2017, she would be around 19 now and that Ironmouse herself would be close to 40. On stream, the streamer reacted with visible shock:
“In 2017, she used that mode. In 2017, she confirmed that she had a daughetr that was 10 years old. That was her. Wait. So that means Ironmouse has a 19-year-old daughter, and she is actually 40-years-old. What the f***?”
He went on to say that the information made him feel as though he had found something illegal:
“I feel like I just saw something illegal. I told the internet Zentreya was a dude; I was right. I told the internet Ironmouse had a kid and they are 19, and Ironmouse is 40? And everybody talks about Ironmouse like she’s a kid.”
On August 27, 2026, Maya Higa announced through X that her non-streamer boyfriend, Caleb, had proposed to her and that the couple was now engaged:
“Best surprise of my life & easiest yes of my life.”
Just a few minutes after Higa shared the post, Tectone reshared it and offered his take on the streamer’s personal life. He stated that Maya Higa’s life had gotten better after she left Mizkif:
“She broke up with Mizkif, and instantly her life got better.”
Higa and Mizkif were previously in a relationship that ended in 2021. Following their split, Higa eventually began dating her current partner. The couple has reportedly been together since around July 2022, although Higa has generally kept her boyfriend away from the spotlight.
