Pokemon turns Ditto into a transforming 3-in-1 travel pillow

Pokemon has released a transforming Ditto travel pillow that fans can sleep on and transform into different accessories.

Ditto fans can have plenty of ways to chill with Pokemon’s pink blob. They can use the morphing monster as a cute Nintendo Switch 2 carry case, release stress with a squishy toy, and get squeaky clean using a bar of Ditto soap (seeing is believing).

However, The Pokemon Company is far from done with Ditto, as travelling trainers can now take a rest with a portable pillow that transforms.

Ditto gets transformable travel pillow

Created by Japanese travel accessories brand Gowell, the ¥4,950 ($31) pillow can switch between three different forms depending on how fans want to use it.

According to the translated store page, Ditto can be morphed into a cute plushie, a Poke Ball-shaped pillow, or a neck pillow for sleeping during long journeys. As for how you transform him, you’ll need to open the zipper and move the beads into the desired shape.

In its Ditto form, the pillow measures approximately 14.2 by 12.2 inches, which makes it the perfect size for hugging. Meanwhile, the Poke Ball form measures around 13.4 inches across, while the neck pillow stretches to approximately 15.4 inches.

Ditto is not the only Pokemon-themed travel item on offer, as fans in Japan can get a cherry blossom Pikachu suitcase cover (very cute!). There are also foldable portable cushions featuring Pikachu, Snorlax, Eevee, and Gengar, a waterproof Pikachu cap, and a lightweight bag.

The collection went on sale on September 4, 2026, at Gowell stores and Pokemon Center locations across Japan, with availability planned across other retailers in the future.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time The Pokemon Company has released travel-themed items. Back in July, a Pokemon suitcase with a built-in window that lets fans display their plushies was released.
