The 30th Celebration set has introduced a new rarity level for the Pokemon TCG called the Futuristic Rare. Since this is expected to be limited to this expansion, holding on to this Mewtwo ex card will be worth it. Especially since Mewtwo is one of the most popular Pokemon in existence right up there with Pikachu and Charizard.
2) Mew Ex Futuristic Rare
Similarly the Futuristic Rare for Mew ex will be quite valuable later on if you can get a copy from a pack. Additionally, Mew ex is one of the few actually viable meta cards so it can be used to flex at tournaments as well.
3) Pikachu Ex Day Variant Special Illustration Rare
There are a lot of Pikachu cards in the 30th Celebration set. This makes sense since it’s the mascot of the franchise. So expect the Special Illustration Rare of the Day variant of Pikachu ex to be one of the most popular chase cards. Especially since it celebrates the set itself by featuring Pokemon from it that have received a card in the 30th Celebration expansion.
4) Pikachu Ex Night Variant Special Illustration Rare
Similarly, expect the Special Illustration Rare of the Night variant of Pikachu ex to also be a popular chase card for all the same reasons as the Day variant.
5) Jirachi Ex Special Illustration Rare
As the first full art Jirachi card since Jirachi V from the expansion Astral Radiance, the Special Illustration Rare of Jirachi ex will be in high demand. Also, as it is one of the most gorgeous cards from the set, it will only appreciate in value over time.
