Zack “Asmongold” has commented on the Israel-Palestine conflict, saying that “losing and being killed isn’t a genocide.”
Twitch and Kick streamer Asmongold has shared his thoughts on the genocide in Palestine.
On September 14, 2026, X user @awk200000 shared a three-minute-eight-second video from Zack’s Just Chatting livestream. In it, the content creator commented on promoters pulling Macklemore from Ed Sheeran’s tour after he called for “Free Palestine” on stage.
While claiming that he “doesn’t care” about the situation in the Middle East, Asmongold stated that “he doesn’t even know” if a genocide was happening in Palestine.
The Austin, Texas-based personality said:
“I don’t care. Like, what does it matter? ‘We’re funding a genocide.’ Oh, genocide? Right? I mean, again, I don’t know. I don’t even know if it is a genocide. Okay? I’ll be honest. But I don’t want to get into that a whole lot, but you look at the population in Gaza, compare that to the Holocaust; it’s not even remotely close. Okay? The only one in history where the population grows? Like, get the **** out of here! Like, losing a war isn’t genocide. Losing and being killed isn’t genocide. Genocide is a very specific thing, and if you look at the populations that experienced a genocide, and then you compare it to Gaza, I think that’s a massive ******* difference.”
The Twitch streamer then stated that the Israel-Palestine conflict is “not a big issue” for him. He added:
“But, again, I don’t really… this is not a big issue to me. Right? But I do think that these people use the word genocide so they can establish a moral, like basically like a ******* exodia, that it doesn’t matter what you say, they always win the moral argument because they get to use this word. Right? Which I don’t even think it’s that accurate.”
Asmongold Says “Way More People Would Be Dead” if Israel “is Really as Good as They Are With Bombing”
Zack continued the conversation, saying that “way more people would be dead” if Israel is “doing a genocide.”
Furthermore, the 36-year-old explained why he “didn’t want to get involved” in the conflicts happening in the Middle East:
“The fact is that, like, if Israel is really as good as they are with bombing, like, if they were doing a genocide, way more people would be dead. Let’s be honest. Like, way more people would be dead. So, I feel like that’s probably not what’s happening. But either way, as I said before, I don’t want to get involved in Middle Eastern ******* **** wars. I don’t want to have anything to do with this. Right?”
