Streamer notsoErudite recently claimed that Hasan Piker ruined her life and that she had to undergo PTSD treatment because of it.

On October 11, 2026, Kick streamer Destiny went live alongside several influencers, including notsoErudite. The five-way call also included streamers and influencers like David Mauricio, WhitneyTV, and Dan Saltman. At one point, the group argued about Twitch streamer Hasan Piker. NotsoErudite, whose real name is Kyla Turner, spoke about the progressive commentator, claiming he “was cool.” She said Piker was at the “forefront of fashion,” a comment that received pushback from Destiny.
She then pivoted to talking about how Piker had allegedly ‘ruined her life.’ Claiming that she “had to go through PTSD treatment” because of the progressive commentator, she had this to say:
“I am absolutely buckling down for the fact that I’m gonna get **** on, like, ruthlessly after this, which is so frustrating. All I’m trying to say is that it is obvious that Hasan was cool. I don’t know what to tell you. ******** look at him. He’s at the forefront of fashion, he’s at Coachella… Hold on, I’ll be more careful with my words… First of all, do not paint me like I like this guy. He ruined my ******* life… I had to go through PTSD treatment because of Hasan. So, stop.”
As of now, the streamer has not explained in detail how Piker allegedly ruined her life or what led to her PTSD treatment.
“People Think He’s Cool”: Streamer NotsoErudite Talks About Hasan Piker

Streamer notsoErudite received pushback from Dan Saltman and Destiny on her talking points. However, the influencer doubled down on her argument, stating that “it is obvious that people think he’s cool.” She also said she regularly encounters young people who believe he’s “cool.” She went on to deny that Hasan Piker holds any real political power. The streamer said:
“All I am saying, it’s so ******* simple. It is obvious that people think he’s cool. I meet young people who are between the ages of 20 and 25 everyday who think that he’s ‘cool.’ Does that mean anything bigger to them? Not really. They think he’s cool. Girls wanna **** him, guys kinda wanna be him. That’s it. That’s all that means. Does that mean that he is gaining political power? No. Does that mean that he is something that is good? No.”
