Zoro is one of the strongest members of the Straw Hat Pirates, and alongside Sanji, he stands as one of the Wings of the Pirate King. Zoro is a phenomenal swordsman who is a master of the three-sword style and often takes center stage when it comes to big battles in the story.
Zoro intends to become the world’s strongest swordsman, and to do so, he needs to surpass Dracule Mihawk. On the quest to surpass Mihawk, he has to fight and defeat a multitude of strong swordsmen. In the final saga, Zoro has already fought and surpassed quite a few powerful swordsmen, but after the events of the Elbaf arc, he is set to clash against some of the biggest powerhouses in the entire world of One Piece.

Zoro Vs Fujitora
Zoro has grown dramatically in terms of power over the years, and right now he’s strong enough to fight against a Navy Admiral. The Elbaf arc has been very important for Zoro and has seen to it that he learns how to master his Conqueror’s Haki properly. Following Elbaf, Zoro is going to be much stronger than ever before and, as such, will be strong enough to fight against threats like that of the Marine Admirals.
Among the Marines, there’s only one character that Zoro has been set up to fight, and that is Fujitora. The two clashed in Dressrosa once before, but it was clear that the admiral was nowhere close to going all out. Back then, Zoro was too weak to fight against Fujitora, but after the events of Elbaf, these two swordsmen could go head to head against each other. Fujitora wields Yakuza Kasen, one of the Supreme Grade swords, and Zoro would love to test his skill against such a mighty swordsman of the One Piece world.

Zoro Vs Shiryu
The clash between the Straw Hat Pirates and the Blackbeard Pirates is inevitably going to happen at some point in One Piece later down the line. As this clash happens, Zoro is set to fight against Shiryu, who is widely deemed to be the number two of the Blackbeard Pirates, or the second strongest.
Shiryu is a very powerful swordsman who wields the blade named Raiu. He is also a skilled user of Haki, and his Suke Suke no Mi ability makes him a force to be reckoned with, as was clearly seen in Egghead, where he dealt a deadly blow even to Vice-Admiral Garp. Shiryu might not have peaked as a swordsman just yet, but in the coming arcs, he is surely going to grow significantly in terms of strength. Zoro and Shiryu are going to come face to face, and this battle will be extremely important, especially if Zoro aims to make Luffy the Pirate King. Shiryu will be one of his final obstacles to take down in the final saga, and we absolutely cannot wait to see this clash.

Zoro Vs Green Bull
While Zoro vs. Fujitora is a battle that is likely going to happen at some point in the story, a clash with Green Bull cannot be ignored either. Green Bull is another powerful Navy Admiral who wields the Logia-type Mori Mori no Mi, making him a woodsman, but at the same time, he is also a skilled swordsman.
Green Bull wields what appears to be a black blade, the powers of which have not fully been seen yet. He is a skilled swordsman, and given that Zoro often relishes battles against swordsmen, he would also love to fight against Green Bull. Given the green theme attached to both and the fact that the latter is a despicable Marine, it would make more sense for Zoro to cut him down instead of Fujitora, who has a kind heart. Zoro vs Green Bull is a clash that could happen at some point in the Final Saga after the Elbaf arc, and one we would love to see.

Zoro Vs Ben Beckman
The Straw Hat Pirates and the Red Hair Pirates will come face to face at some point in the story. Luffy has himself stated that he intends to defeat all the Emperors, including Shanks, and their face-off is likely coming after the Elbaf arc. When the Straw Hats face the Red Hair Pirates, there is only one character that Zoro is going to take on in battle, and that is Ben Beckman. It is clear that Beckman is not a swordsman at all, so Zoro fighting him is going to be quite difficult to see. However, this clash is still one that should happen, given that they are both Number Twos of their respective crews.
Ben Beckman is a force to be reckoned with, and Oda himself highlighted him as a stronger Haki user than even the Navy Admirals. After Zoro masters his Color of the Supreme King, testing his skill against Ben Beckman, one of the strongest pirates in the entire world is surely going to be an incredible sight for all the fans.
2
Zoro Vs Mihawk
Zoro’s most significant battle in the entirety of One Piece will come against Dracule Mihawk, the strongest swordsman in the world. Mihawk wields the Supreme Grade sword Yoru, which is also a Black Blade. It is one of the most powerful blades to exist in the world of One Piece, and it is what makes Mihawk as special as he is.
Zoro vs. Mihawk has already happened once, and it is set to happen again in the future after the events of Elbaf. Given that Zoro has now reached new levels of power, he is more ready than ever before to take on Mihawk in battle and surpass him. Eventually, Zoro will have to defeat Mihawk to become the strongest swordsman in the world and fulfill his dream, and we absolutely cannot wait to see that. For now, it is unlikely for this battle to come immediately after Elbaf because there is still a significant gap between Zoro and Mihawk that must be bridged. Once that gap is bridged, this clash can finally happen, and we are sure that all fans of One Piece will relish it.

Zoro Vs Nusjuro
The Straw Hat Pirates are increasingly close to clashing against the Five Elders and the World Government. In the Egghead arc, the crew had a brief clash with the likes of the Elders, and it was clear to see that Zoro vs. Nusjuro was something that Oda was highlighting. The two traded blows with their Kitetsu swords towards the end of the arc, before Luffy and crew eventually went on to escape from the island. This arc set up an exciting clash for the fans to look forward to when the battle against the World Government officially begins.
It is highly likely that Zoro’s main fight will be against none other than Nusjuro in the final arc. Nusjuro is a legendary swordsman of the One Piece world, whose skill could potentially be even greater than that of Dracule Mihawk. He has the power of an Abyssal Covenant from Imu and could be powered up further with an Omen from the King of the World. Even though Mihawk is strong, Nusjuro might just be the greatest challenge that Zoro will ever face. In fact, this could be a challenge for him after he becomes the World’s Strongest Swordsman, which would be incredibly exciting for all of us to see. For now, Zoro vs. Nusjuro is not close, but eventually, it is going to happen, and we all relish a clash of Kitetsu blades in this last segment of the story.
