Dragon Ball Super: Beerus premiered on October 11, 2026, with absolutely no news of an English dub in production. This isn’t unusual for the series. It took months for Dragon Ball DAIMA‘s English dub to get any momentum when the anime originally released in Japan. All signs pointed to Dragon Ball Super: Beerus suffering a similar fate, but American fans can finally rest easy: an English dub is coming very soon.
Crunchyroll confirmed earlier today via a press release that the English dub of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will premiere on November 12, 2026, a little over a month after the series’ debut in Japan. Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is an enhanced retelling of the original Dragon Ball Super anime that remakes the series to better match Akira Toriyama’s vision. So far, the anime has added new scenes from the manga, cut a tremendous amount of filler, redesigned characters like Yamoshi, and even rewritten dialogue for some scenes.
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus’ English Drops on Crunchyroll Next Week
According to Crunchyroll’s press release, “The English, Spanish, and Portuguese dub episodes of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will be available exclusively on Crunchyroll in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America starting November 12 at 8am PT, with new dubbed episodes available weekly.” This mean that the English dub of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will be five episodes behind for the series’ run.

Crunchyroll also partially confirmed the main cast for the English dub. Sean Schemmel, Chris Sabat, Jason Douglas, and Ian Sinclair are all reprising their roles as Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, and Whis respectively. The rest of the cast has not been revealed yet, but it stands to reason that Funimation will maintain the actors they had in Dragon Ball DAIMA. The biggest thing to see will be if Funimation is actually rerecording dialogue ala Dragon Ball Z Kai, or simply reusing the cast’s original performances from Dragon Ball Super. Episode 3 had new dialogue between Beerus and Vegeta, so some lines will need to be recorded one way or another.
