British journalist Piers Morgan criticized Jennifer Welch for laughing at a satirical post mocking Charlie Kirk’s death that went viral after the Democratic sweep in the midterm elections. Morgan replied to the clip of Welch laughing and called it “disgusting” in a post on X. During the November 5, 2026, podcast episode of I’ve Had It, Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan were reacting to funny social media posts about the elections. That is when they came across a controversial post by an X user that mentioned Charlie Kirk.
The post made light of Kirk’s death and reads as follows:
“We’re digging up Charlie Kirk and doing it again.”
American right-wing media company Daily Wire shared a clip from the podcast episode where Jennifer Welch laughed at the post. The outlet called it “evil.” In the video, after recovering from her laughter, Welch said:
“No comment. He was shot by a MAGA person. White person, White MAGA family. The only thing I ever saw him wearing, I’ve never seen him wearing any trans thing, was a MAGA hat.”
Piers Morgan responded to the clip by Daily Wire and said:
“This is disgusting.”

“These Are Communists. And They Are Evil”: Spencer Pratt Calls Out Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan for Laughing at a Controversial Post About Charlie Kirk
Spencer Pratt, who lost the race for LA Mayor earlier this year, also reacted to the clip. In a post on X, Pratt called Welch and Sullivan “communists” and “evil” for laughing at the joke about Charlie Kirk. Spencer Pratt also mocked Jennifer Welch’s physical appearance, comparing her to a “melting wax statue of Bill Nye.”
In his post, Pratt warned about “communist violence” and said:
“The melting wax statue of Bill Nye with a blonde wig laughs uncontrollably over the thought of digging up Charlie Kirk and killing him twice. These are not democrats. These are communists. And they are evil. We have a communist violence problem.”
Neither Jennifer Welch nor Angie Sullivan has responded to the criticism yet.
