Each race has unique passives, abilities, and stats that encourage you to experiment with different playstyles. But often, some of them have a significant advantage over others. Best Races in Grad Blue, Explained
Below, you can find a detailed explanation of why each race belongs to a particular tier.
S-Tier Races
- Human (Celestial): The strongest race, the best in the S-tier. It offers economic advantages thanks to discounts at NPCs and has a massive advantage in combat due to Pet Guard. You can equip skills and Demon Fruits on it, which makes Celestial unique and even unfair compared to others.
- Beastfolk (Bunny): The best choice for PvP thanks to excellent mobility combined with the Electro M1’s burst damage.
- Beastfolk (Cat): It boasts an alternative form during a full moon, as well as explosive damage and increased critical damage. It may not be as mobile as the Bunny, but it’s certainly just as powerful.
A-Tier Races
- Skyfolk: As the name suggests, this race is designed for aerial combat. Air dashes and gliding add vertical gameplay and allow for more unexpected attacks against opponents. If you enjoy this combat style, it’s a solid choice even when compared to S-tier races.
- Dwarf : This race is extremely resilient and has accelerated leveling. You’ll gain more experience and enhance your equipment. In addition, your skills have faster cooldowns. It’s worth keeping if you have few rolls left.
- Seafolk: This race gains increased damage and movement speed in water, as well as health regeneration while the “Soaked” effect is active. A good choice if water is your element.
B-Tier Races
- Half-Fish Human: Fishing efficiency increases, but it’s essentially just a weaker version of Seafolk. A very situational choice that only makes sense if you have few rerolls.
- Long-Armed Human [5%]: Increases the radius of the base M1 attack by 10%. Unfortunately, that’s all it does, so it’s better to find something from the A or S tier.
- Long-Legged Human [5%]: Increases the character’s height and sprint distance. Same situation as with the Long-Armed Human.
C-Tier Races
- Default Human: The common race with no combat passives. Change it at the first opportunity.
How to Get New Races in Grand Blue
In Grand Blue, you can change your race using Race Spins. They are usually given as rewards for participating in various in-game events or quests. You can also redeem Grand Blue codes or buy spins with Robux.
