Streamer Asmongold has criticized Hasan Piker over comments calling fellow streamer xQc a “gambling pervert” due to his involvement with gambling content.
On August 28, 2026, Hasan Piker went live on Twitch and discussed xQc while talking about gambling streams and their impact on viewers. Piker criticized xQc for promoting gambling content, particularly crypto and casino streams, as well as sponsorships involving platforms such as Stake.
He argued that this type of content can be harmful and questioned the broader impact of promoting gambling to large online audiences:
“When you follow them, you arrive at a bunch of, like, straight-up rapists, s** pests, abusers, or you know, crypto gambling casino perverts.”

So you’re not even aware of what you’re saying. So, like, you’re not even aware that this clip probably exists. And so, you’re not thinking about it. So you don’t try to, like, hedge by, like, you know, qualifying your statement or something like that. You never back down from any position that you have. So everybody hates you because you’re the kind of person who’s going to just insinuate all kinds of crazy abuse stuff just because somebody else doesn’t immediately take the side against the person that you don’t like.”
Asmongold Gives His Take on Why No One “Likes” Hasan Piker
During the same stream on August 28, 2026, Asmongold was watching clips of Hasan Piker discussing xQc and his promotion of gambling content. While hearing Piker’s comments, Asmongold also explained why he believes people do not like the left-wing streamer.
According to Asmongold, the reason is not necessarily Piker’s political views but the way he behaves:
“It’s crazy how it’s all a conspiracy, and there’s never even the possibility that the reason why people don’t like you is because of the way that you act. There’s no way that could be the case. So it’s this, like, meta-level, four-dimensional chess reason that you’ve invented.”
