Controversial streamer Ice Poseidon has gone viral for handing off his trash to random people in Japan after he couldn’t find a nearby trash can on August 10. The streamer approached strangers on the street and handed them the trash by presenting it as something valuable. The internet is now blowing up over the streamer’s behavior, with one user painting it as a case of “whites behaving badly”:

“Whites behaving badly again while blaming blacks.”

Another user highlighted how streamers disrespect the locals in Japan, calling for restrictions on streamers:

“All these streamers ever do is go to Japan and disrespect the Japanese people; there should be tighter restrictions for Western streamers in Japan.”

A similar sentiment was echoed by another user who expressed exhaustion at streamers treating Japan as their “personal dump”:

“Streamers treating Tokyo streets like their personal dump is exactly why locals side-eye every white dude with a camera now. It’s not quirky its straight entitlement, and the chat egging it on makes it worse. Japan should start handing out lifetime bans for this mess.”

Finally, one user called for Ice Poseidon and similar streamers to be jailed for his actions:

“Public nuisance garbage streamers need to get jailed in Japan. Japan is a Country that follows strict laws. I admire Japan in a lot of ways.”

The incident occurred multiple times on Ice Poseidon’s August 10 stream. The streamer was visiting Osaka for a day and had purchased a drink from a cafe. He drank the drink throughout the stream, and when it was all but ice, he decided that he needed to trash it somewhere, but found nothing:

“Of course there’s no trash cans anywhere.”

He then found a group of women who claimed to be from Korea. The streamer introduced himself to them, and mid-conversation, handed them the empty cup, boasting about it later:

“When there’s no trash cans around here, you gotta give the trash to somebody to hold it.”

About two hours later on the same stream, Ice Poseidon had yet another cup he needed to dispose of. This time, he found a random group of men and shouted “Pokemon Cup” at them. As the men grabbed to inspect, he quickly jogged away.
