Sprites are now in Fortnite Reload with the arrival of the Springfield Reloaded map. During your matches, you may have encountered other players carrying Sprites, or even gotten your hands on the John Wick Sprite. But what Sprites can you actually find in Reload? And is it possible to get Sprites that aren’t in the mode’s loot pool? That and more in this Fortnite guide.
What Sprites Can You Find in Fortnite Reload?
As of the time of writing, the only Sprite that can be found in Fortnite Reload is the John Wick Sprite. The John Wick Sprite is guaranteed to appear in Sprite Chests across all Fortnite Reload maps, but it also has a chance to drop from both Chests and Rare Chests, giving you additional ways to find one if you don’t come across a Sprite Chest.
No other Sprites can currently be found in Fortnite Reload. However, during the first day of the update, bots had a chance to spawn carrying rare Sprites such as the Earth Sprite, Water Sprite, Fire Sprite, Air Sprite, and Fishy Sprite, allowing players to obtain them in Reload. However, this was unintentional.
Extracting Sprites in Fortnite Reload is pretty similar to doing so in Battle Royale, but with a few key differences. Since there are no dedicated Extractors on any Fortnite Reload map, you will need a Reload Portable Extractor to add your Sprite to your collection. Here’s how to get a Reload Portable Extractor:
- As Ground Loot or from Chests
- Purchased from Vending Machines for 50 Gold
Once you have a Reload Portable Extractor, it will take up an inventory slot. Simply hold the Use button while it is equipped to extract the Sprite on your back.
Can You Bring Sprites into Fortnite Reload?
Unfortunately, you cannot bring any kind of Sprite into Fortnite Reload, including the John Wick Sprite. This is because the mode currently does not allow you to select a Sprite before the match begins. While this may potentially change in a future update to let you bring in the John Wick Sprite only, that is not currently the case.
This means that the only way to get a Sprite in Fortnite Reload is to find one during your match.
