Jutta Leerdam reacts to Jake Paul’s wish for a huge family, clarifying her timeline on having kids with the YouTube star-turned-boxer.
Jutta Leerdam has addressed the questions surrounding when she and Jake Paul plan to have children.
On September 5, 2026, a new video was uploaded to the Paul Ranch Family YouTube channel. Titled Answering Your Most Asked Questions, the video featured Paul and Leerdam responding to questions about their relationship and life together.
At the beginning of the video, Paul surprised his fiancée by taking her to a section of baby goats that he had made for her. The moment set the tone for the video before the couple moved on to answering some of the questions they receive most often from viewers.
One of the questions focused on a topic that has been discussed by fans before. It was when Paul and Leerdam planned to have a baby. Paul gave a direct answer. The YouTuber and boxer said that he would like to have between five and 10 children after the couple gets married:
“I would say after the wedding… I would say probably like five to 10 kids.”
Leerdam, however, offered a different perspective. Rather than putting a specific number on how many children she wants, the Dutch speed skater explained that she would not want to have as many as Paul suggested.
She indicated that having children is a major decision and that she wants each child to receive the attention and care they deserve. Leerdam also made it clear that the couple is not rushing into parenthood. She said they will have children when the time feels right for them:
“He’s just bulls*****g. We will have kids when the time feels right. I won’t do 10 kids because I think all of the kids deserve their attention. And I think you’re not gonna be able to give them as much love and attention as they need.”

In the September 5, 2026, video, Leerdam indicated that Paul would be ready to have a baby with her “yesterday,” highlighting just how eager he is to become a father. However, Paul had already discussed the subject back in 2024.
During an episode of BS With Jake Paul, Paul said he was waiting to have a baby with Leerdam but could not do so because of her commitments to speed skating. The boxer at that time added that once those restrictions were no longer an issue, he would be ready to have a baby with her:
“Jutta is on a delayed timeline here ’cause of her sport… As soon as she’s done on her own terms, then we’re gonna pop out a giant baby.”
Paul and Leerdam first met in 2023 and began dating shortly afterward. The couple took another major step in their relationship in March 2025, when Paul proposed to Leerdam. Since then, they have continued to discuss their future together, including the possibility of having children.
