Streamer Asmongold has drawn widespread attention after calling George Floyd a “piece of garbage” during a recent livestream.

On August 24, 2026, Asmongold began his Twitch stream on his second channel, Zackrawrr. He initially spent time listening to music before moving over to X, where he browsed through a series of videos and posts.

At one point, Asmongold came across a video showing Hasan Piker reacting to him condemning the “We Are Charlie Kirk” song. Piker’s reaction led Asmongold to discuss the criticism and draw a comparison involving Charlie Kirk and George Floyd.

During that discussion, Asmongold referred to Floyd as a “piece of garbage” and brought up the widely reported incident involving Floyd and an alleged counterfeit $20 bill:

“By the way, George Floyd was a career criminal, s***bag, piece of s***, piece of garbage. He was trying to buy a banana with a fake $20 bill. Driving around on fentanyl, and Charlie Kirk was simply a political activist that had a family. No critic, no criminal record, no violent behavior, no resisting arrest. So Charlie Kirk and George Floyd are not equal. George was a piece of f******* garbage. The world is a better place because George Floyd is dead.”

Popular streamer Asmongold sparked backlash on August 24, 2026, after making critical comments about George Floyd.

Asmongold Shares Unusual Plan for Announcing His Future Marriage

Asmongold discussed marriage during the same August 24, 2026 livestream after one of his viewers asked when he planned to get married. The streamer did not give a specific timeline for marriage. Instead, he explained how his audience would supposedly find out if he eventually decided to tie the knot.

During the conversation, Asmongold joked that he would say the N-word before getting married. He indirectly suggested that doing so would likely result in a ban or some other break from streaming.

According to the streamer, after returning from the break, he would create a moment on stream and reveal that he had gotten married:

“I don’t comment on the relationships that I have. The relationships that I have are kind of like, you know, what’s on the stream is on the stream. People can draw whatever conclusions they want. I don’t spend a lot of time talking about this. If I ever get married, I might take 3 or 4 days off. Maybe I’ll say the N-word when I’m about to get married. That way I can have, like, an exciting comeback stream too.”

The comment was framed as a joke about how he could use a suspension or break from streaming to keep the wedding private before returning with the announcement.
