After the influencer went off at the hecklers, organizers stepped in with the police to disperse the crowd. Local officers warned operators behind the podcasters’ team to pack up, or they would be arrested for trespassing. Initially, Myron Gaines had the microphone and called out a group of hecklers using foul language, which was reason enough to end his open-mic debate.
“I gave you [expletives] an opportunity to come on the microphone and you guys don’t wanna come on the microphone.”
Organizers rushed the podcaster’s team to pack up and vacate the venue. As they were leaving, students followed closely behind and continued heckling the influencer and his team.
