GTA RP streamer Ramee has pushed back on xQc’s explanation for why Chang Gang members were missing from the NoPixel 5.0 launch, denying any coordinated plot against the server and claiming the group was refused when they asked to return.
We previously covered xQc’s comments, where the NoPixel co-owner called the absence a “nothing burger” and said the group had “self-excluded” after leaving to build their own server.
Ramee says NoPixel turned down their return
Speaking on stream, Ramee said xQc was only hearing one side. “I got a lot of love for X, bro, but whatever this bull that he was saying on the stream is just so far from the truth,” he said. “He’s listening to only one side of a story.”
He flatly denied any organised campaign. “There wasn’t this like Lizard Squad, like FBI Green Beret plot to take down a GTA server. Crazy doesn’t even make any sense.”
According to Ramee, the group first moved to rival server Prodigy after member Carlo, played by streamer Shotz, was banned from NoPixel, because they didn’t want to leave him behind. NoPixel later asked them back for the 4.0 update.
That return didn’t go smoothly. Ramee said he was banned over what he described as “quote unquote” shaming Siobhan, the character played by DivaJilly, and referenced a clash between Moonmoon and Chang Gang leader LordKebun in the police lobby that he says ended with Moon melting down, though he admits he wasn’t there to see it himself.
DivaJilly and Moonmoon were at the centre of a widely publicised cheating scandal in 2024.
Ramee claims administrators avoided banning anyone involved and instead waited for the group to drift away. In August, they told admins they’d spend two to three months on Prodigy to let things cool off. “Let sh*t die down. It is getting salty. It is getting weird.”
When that period ended, the answer wasn’t what they expected. “We sent a message like, ‘Yo, we’re probably going to hop back on on Monday,’” Ramee said. “And then it was like, ‘Nah, y’all ain’t welcome back.’ That’s literally what happened.”
He said no proper explanation was ever given despite trying to talk to them for two years, and challenged the idea that he’d been badmouthing NoPixel. “Find me a clip of me in the last two to three years talking sh*t about a server besides Prodigy.”
Ramee said the whole situation has become draining. “I’m like 31 now, married. I don’t give a sh*t about roleplay pixel drama, my dude.”
