Internet users are slamming influencer BinxBasilisk, who trespassed on private property to take selfies at an Amazon plane crash site.
BinxBasilisk is facing criticism online after footage from her recent livestream appeared to show the streamer entering an area near the site of the Amazon cargo plane crash in Miami and taking selfies in front of the wreckage.
The incident happened on September 6, 2026, the same day an Amazon Air cargo plane crashed at Miami International Airport. BinxBasilisk, who regularly streams her travels and activities on Kick, had been livestreaming throughout the day before heading out with fellow streamer ChickenAndy and a group of others.
Clips from BinxBasilisk’s stream began circulating online. The footage reportedly showed her and ChickenAndy with a group of people entering an area around the crash site and approaching the damaged aircraft. They were seen taking photos and selfies with the wreckage in the background. The female streamer at one point even said:
“Yo, what the hell? We can even touch the crashed plane!”
The footage quickly drew criticism from viewers who questioned the decision to approach the site so soon after a deadly crash:
“Social media breeds the most pathetic streamers,” Reddit user u/Far_Ratio_5441 said.
“I mean this person is literally trespassing on an active scene under NTSB investigation; if they don’t get hit with the book, I’d be surprised,” Reddit user u/Jiffrey wrote.
“Take a picture of us. What the F**k. People died here. Have some respect,” Reddit user u/Tiny-Mulberry-2114 commented.
“Film yourselves committing a felony… Darwin award,” Reddit user u/SingaboutdaSpringa said.
BinxBasilisk Had Planned to Go to the Crash Site a Lot Earlier
BinxBasilisk’s visit to the site of the Amazon Air plane crash was reportedly planned well before she and her group eventually entered the area at night.
The Boeing 767-300, operated by 21 Air for Amazon Air, had departed from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and overran a runway while attempting to land at Miami International Airport. The aircraft struck several vehicles before coming to rest and catching fire.
At least five people were killed, and five others were injured, with three of those injured reported to be in critical condition. Authorities said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
During her September 6 livestream, BinxBasilisk, ChickenAndy, and others wanted to visit the crash site. After getting a massage at a massage parlor, the group quickly headed toward the area to see whether they could get inside. However, their first attempt did not work. The area was heavily guarded, with an active investigation underway.
The group then discussed trying again at night, when they believed security might be lighter. Later, they walked along railway tracks near the airport until they found an opening and entered through it.
According to footage from the stream, the group was able to reach the area without being stopped by personnel, despite the crash investigation still being underway.
