What the Egg Fall event and Incubator Pod do?
- Egg Fall event: Randomly spawns while you’re in Cretaterra — giant dinosaur eggs fall; run through to break them. Drops are ~70% Rubies / 30% Dinosaur Eggs (per Egg Fall mechanics). Eggs can hatch into high-rarity dinos without needing to tame them on a run.
- Incubation Pod (Lobby):
- Hatch eggs collected from Egg Fall. By default, one hatch slot is free; more slots unlock with Rubies/Robux.
- Fuse eggs: combine lower-tier eggs into higher-tier eggs (fusion requires Dinosaur DNA).
- Exchange dinos for DNA: trade duplicate dinosaurs (or buy duplicates from Animal Shop then exchange) to get Dinosaur DNA used in fusions.
The new animals
Cretaterra adds 10 new dinosaurs. Pro Game Guides lists the animals and key passives — here are the highlights (shortened to the most impactful info):
- Mosasaurus (Exclusive) — rampage ability that breaks obstacles, speed boosts on break. (Only from Tier 4/5 eggs.)
- Tyrannosaurus Rex (Shine) — fear roar slows nearby animals; can eat animals. (Has special spawn mechanic — see below.)
- Spinosaurus (Rainbow) — rage every 30s for big speed + smash obstacles.
- Carnotaurus (Legendary) — charges forward; collisions increase speed.
- Utahraptor (Legendary) — summons pack mates; provides speed when packmates alive.
- Pterodactyl (Epic) — airborne high-speed creature.
- Brachiosaurus (Epic) — slow but unique passive.
- Triceratops (Rare) — destroys rocks/trees without slowdown (CD 15s).
- Ankylosaurus (Rare) — passive utility.

New weather events & mutations
Three new weather events added with the Ancient update:

- Collect eggs from Egg Fall (30% chance per egg). Bring them to the Incubator Pod.
- Hatch to get dinosaurs directly. Use extra hatch slots (buy with Rubies/Robux) to speed farming.
- Fuse eggs to make higher-tier eggs — requires Dinosaur DNA. PGG states a sample requirement of ~500 DNA per fusion (confirm in-game, numbers may be updated). Get DNA by exchanging duplicates at the Pod or buying duplicates from the Animal Shop and exchanging.
