On September 25, 2026, rap artist Iggy Azalea revealed that she is dropping new music. Her last studio album, titled The End of an Era, was released in 2021. Azalea’s last single, Money Come, was released on August 25, 2023, and the Fancy singer has not released anything since. In 2024, she revealed that she had no interest in returning to music. However, judging by her recent post, she is now working on new music. In her X post, she wrote:
“Sooo… It’s officially fall, and I come with an unusually long seasonal update. Firstly, I’d like to announce that summer & tennis have left me with horrific tan lines. Secondly, I am back recording music. Is that a bad idea? Maybe. Probably. Definitely.”
Since Azalea claimed she is working on new music, the news spread across social media, including platforms like Reddit. Social media users reacted to the news, saying:

The Black Widow singer says she seems to “have an inner crisis” about her identity when she isn’t making music. She wrote that she was unable to take the mushrooms, as doing so would remind her of wanting to make music. She said:
“Still, every time I’m incapacitated by mushrooms of the magical kind, I seem to have an inner crisis about who I am if I’m not making music. I can’t even eat them anymore because I know that’s where my mind will wander every time.”
