On August 22, 2026, Kick streamer Braden “Clavicular” shared a controversial post on X. He suggested that looksmaxxing could potentially lower a person’s risk of being murdered. He wrote:

“There’s no dataset where researchers rated the facial attractiveness of homicide victims. I would speculate victims of homicide are typically cel-ish. We need some research into this subject because I’m guessing that looksmaxing can help prevent being murdered.”

After his post hit the timeline on X, social media users decided to share their thoughts:

“Yea c******** and psychopaths don’t tend to discriminate on victims. Not to mention many murders are perpetrated by someone the victim knows and thus looks isn’t a deciding factor in how likely you are to be murdered,” said X user @EmperorKAYKORE.

“Weird as f*** dude holy s*** you’re the definition of an incel who is addicted to plastic surgery and thinking you’re the most attractive guy on the planet. You’re not,” wrote @S***Talker421 on X.

“I’d guess the opposite and the victims tend to be more attractive and murderers more cell-ish because the murderer could be jealous of them or think they’re better off so worth robbing, etc which leads to murder,” said X user @Michael19662652.

“Realistically its already done. Low income = more homicide. Low income also normally equals youre physically unattractive. Settled,” commented @TomGradyxici on X.

“You should really stick to looksmaxxing. Brainmaxxing doesn’t suit you very well,” said X user @BruceBangers.

During a recent stream, Clavicular performed a vertical jump in front of women at a party. The clip was later shared across social media, with some users claiming that the women got the ick from Braden’s behavior. On August 18, 2026, YouTuber and wrestler Logan Paul came to his defense. Claiming Braden is “ready for critical action,” Paul said:

“If the average club ceiling is about 10’ tall and Clav is 6’2”, you’re looking at roughly a 24” vertical jump without a warm up We also don’t know if he grazed the ceiling with his fingertips, or if he was able to fully palm the ceiling which would make this an even more impressive display of athleticism Harboring this type of explosive power while wearing a polo and jeans means he’s ready for critical action anytime, anywhere.”
