Pringles is changing up its signature crisp with a new thicker version designed specifically for dipping.
The snack brand has announced Pringles Dippers, a new line that transforms its familiar curved chip into a thicker, sturdier, and wavier crisp. The new range will begin hitting retailers nationwide in September alongside another addition to the Pringles Mingles lineup.
The launch marks the first time Pringles has created a crisp specifically around dipping, with its new shape intended to hold up when scooping thicker dips without breaking.
Pringles Dippers launch in three flavors
Pringles Dippers will initially be available in Original, French Onion and Bacon Cheddar flavors.
Original uses the classic Pringles flavor but pairs it with the new thicker design. French Onion combines caramelized onion notes with tangy and creamy flavors, while Bacon Cheddar mixes cheddar cheese with smoky bacon notes.
All three use what Pringles describes as a “scoopy, curvy shape,” making the crisps thicker and structurally sturdier than the brand’s standard offering.

Pringles is also expanding its Mingles range in September with a new Sweet & Salty flavor.
The bowtie-shaped puffed snack, inspired by the bowtie worn by Pringles mascot Mr. P, combines brown buttery sweetness with a salty finish.
“Between this innovation and the Sweet & Salty addition to our Mingles lineup, Pringles brings you new ways to take on your favorite snack which we know fans will love,” Flaherty-Yao added.
Pringles has also been experimenting with sauce-inspired flavors in recent months. In July, the brand teamed up with Buffalo Wild Wings for a limited-edition range based on three of the restaurant chain’s signature sauces: Buffalo, Spicy Garlic and Mango Habanero.
