Popular streamer Asmongold aims at GMC Hummer EV owners with a controversial claim about their testosterone levels.

Popular streamer Asmongold has sparked discussion after claiming during his latest livestream that GMC Hummer EV buyers have “lower testosterone” levels than adult women.
On August 23, 2026, Asmongold was streaming from his second Twitch channel, zackrawrr, when he came across a post involving the GMC Hummer EV while browsing X. The post led him to discuss Nick Polom, also known as nmplol, who recently bought a Hummer EV.
Asmongold questioned the reasoning behind buying an electric version of a vehicle known for its large size and heavy build. He argued that people who typically buy Hummers do so because they want to drive a vehicle associated with high environmental impact, which made the electric version seem contradictory to him:
“Nick got a new car, by the way. I was in his car maybe a couple of weeks ago, and he was showing it to me. He got, like, it’s the dumbest; it’s like an oxymoron. He got an electric Hummer, which is like, if you buy a Hummer, I feel like your goal is to destroy the environment. I feel like your goal is like, if I am buying a Hummer, I want dolphins and salamanders to die; that’s the point. So what the f*** are you doing buying an electric f****** car? So it’s just weird.”
However, he did not stop at questioning the vehicle choice. He further claimed that people who buy the vehicle have lower testosterone levels:
“In order to get an electric Hummer you have to go to the Hummer dealership and you need a medical, you need a medical exemption. The exemption is that your testosterone is under the level that is medically normal for an adult female. So, if your testosterone is that low, then you can get an electric Hummer.”

Clips of Asmongold making the Hummer EV comment quickly spread across social media, with viewers sharing the moment from his stream and reacting to his choice of words.
Polom, who recently bought a Hummer EV, also came across one of the clips. His reaction suggested that he was caught off guard by what Asmongold had said. Rather than giving a lengthy response, the 35-year-old retweeted one of the clips and wrote:
“What the f***.”
The exchange has since added another layer to the conversation surrounding Asmongold’s comments, with viewers now watching to see whether either streamer addresses the situation further.
