Kanye West went on a shopping spree with his kids and spent thousands of dollars on Pokemon cards for them.
Back in May, rapper Kanye West was seen leaving LA Sports Cards in Burbank, California, a famous trading card store that sells Pokemon cards and other collectables. He and his youngest child had a large black and white box in hand.
His ex-wife Kim Kardashian is also a regular at the store, frequently purchasing boxes for her children that she shares with Kanye. Kardashian was later seen alongside Steve Aoki when her son Saint pulled an incredibly rare Kyogre card from a Storm Emerald Pokemon pack.
Kanye returned to the store and spent big
According to Page Six, Kanye visited LA Sports Cards on Wednesday, September 30. The owners shut down the store so the rapper and his excited children could have the place to themselves.
“He spent thousands upon thousands on Pokemon cards for them and they were going crazy opening them up,” a source told the publication.
The store posted a series of photographs to Instagram that showed Kanye in the store, posing with employees. Though he kept a straight face in the photographs, the owners were thrilled to have him. “Always a pleasure having you. Thank you so much for stopping by!” the post read.
