My Hero Academia is home to some of the most powerful siblings in anime, many of whom possess extraordinary Quirks that allow them to unleash phenomenal displays of power. However, not every sibling in My Hero Academia has a healthy relationship; many resent one another, with some even becoming bitter rivals until the end.
Still, what sets the strongest siblings in My Hero Academia apart is their remarkable power, irrespective of their relationship with one another. The unique ways their Quirks complement or clash with each other only make them stand out and grow more formidable throughout the series.

The Three Sturm und Drang Brothers Are Strange Villain Siblings With Incredible Speed
The Three Sturm und Drang Brothers are composed of three villains, each possessing the Slide and Glide Quirk, which allows them to move at incredible speeds as if they were figure skating or gliding on roller skates. Despite their relatively simple Slide and Glide Quirk, the brothers can be difficult to catch once they get into their zone, using their incredible speed and mobility to evade their opponents.
Unlike other villains who dream of dominating the world, the Three Sturm und Drang Brothers are only interested in following what they believe to be human nature, which, in their case, means stealing women’s and men’s underwear.

Tenko and Hana Are the Shimura Family’s Tragic Siblings
Once upon a time, Tenko Shimura was just an ordinary boy who wanted to play with his sister Hana. Back then, he wasn’t the ruthless Tomura Shigaraki who would stop at nothing to terrorize heroes and the world with his Decay and All For One quirks. Instead, Tenko was a vulnerable boy who dreamed of becoming a hero someday, unaware of the tragic fate that awaited him.
Most of the time, Tenko would turn to Hana for comfort despite their father’s harsh treatment and strict opposition to his dream of becoming a hero. It was only after Tenko received the Decay Quirk that Hana ceased to exist, never witnessing her brother’s transformation from a vulnerable boy into a vengeful villain.

Eri and Kota Izumi Are Foster Siblings With Incredible Potential
While Eri and Kota Izumi aren’t biological siblings, they end up becoming foster siblings under the care of Shino Sosaki, otherwise known as Mandalay of the Wild, Wild, Pussycats. Together, they watched Izuku Midoriya and the other heroes fight against Shigaraki and his villain army during the Final War, placing their complete trust in the heroes to save the world.
Individually, Eri and Kota possess Quirks with so much potential to become incredibly powerful as they grow and learn to control their abilities. As fans know, Eri has her Rewind Quirk, whereas Kota can unleash Water Guns from his palms, giving both foster siblings unique abilities with plenty of room for growth.

Fuyumi and Natsuo Are the Todoroki Family’s Ice Siblings
The Todoroki family is also home to Fuyumi and Natsuo, who both inherited their mother’s ice-based Quirk, Frost. Unlike Shoto and Toya, who inherited Endeavor’s flames, Fuyumi and Natsuo are capable of generating and manipulating ice, making them more closely resemble their mother in terms of their combat abilities.
While Fuyumi and Natsuo aren’t active heroes and live as ordinary civilians for most of the series, they still contributed greatly to Shoto’s campaign against Toya Todoroki during the Final War. With their ability to neutralize Toya’s Blue Flames with their Frost Quirks, Fuyumi and Natsuo played a crucial role in weakening their brother and giving Shoto a better chance of defeating him without killing him.

Tensei and Tenya Ida Are Siblings United By Speed
The Ida siblings are renowned for their incredible speed, made possible by their Engine Quirks. While Tensei Iida has engines in both arms, Tenya Iida has engines in both calves, granting both incredible speed and allowing them to move at astonishing velocities. Their quirks make them incredibly effective for villain chases, rescue efforts, and rapidly reaching areas where their speed is needed most.
The Ida siblings are also known for having a healthy relationship. The younger Iida admires his brother greatly, even after Tensei suffered a paralyzing injury that abruptly ended his hero career. In return, the elder Ida trusts his younger brother and supports his journey to becoming a great hero.

Shoto and Toya Todoroki Are Siblings With Rivaling Flames
The Todoroki family is home to Shoto and Toya, two of the most powerful flame users in the series, both capable of surpassing their father, Endeavor, in terms of flame temperature and output. While Shoto and Toya could have joined forces, they instead ended up fighting each other due not only to Endeavor’s influence but also outside interference.
In combat, only Shoto’s Half Hot Half Cold Quirk can truly match the sheer heat and destructive power of Toya’s Blue Flames. Shoto’s ability to perfectly balance his two opposing powers allows him to generate flames hot enough to rival Toya’s while also using his ice to regulate his body temperature and prevent overheating.

Yoichi and Zen Shigaraki Could Have Been Unstoppable Together
Yoichi and Zen Shigaraki brought two of the most powerful quirks in the series, namely the One For All and the All For One. With these overpowered meta-abilities, these two brothers could have dominated the world together or otherwise protected it, but due to their clashing mentalities and ideologies, they naturally became rivals instead.
While Yoichi would often object to Zen’s cruel ways, the latter would see the former as nothing but his first possession in the world. Zen eventually assumed the role of All For One, capable of stealing and bestowing Quirks, whereas Yoichi passed on the One For All Quirk and its stockpiling power to future generations of heroes.
