Xbox Game Pass Leaving 9 Games Behind Today

Xbox Game Pass is removing nine titles later today, October 31, with all of them expected to depart around midnight local time. The outgoing batch is as varied as they come, including everything from one of the best LEGO games ever to one of the worst-rated titles on Xbox Game Pass.

October 2026 has been a rough month in terms of departures from Microsoft’s subscription service. Its first wave of removals on October 15 already saw Xbox Game Pass lose nine titles, including one of its most critically acclaimed offerings, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Just 16 days later, that monthly departure total is now set to double.

The initial list of October 31 Xbox Game Pass departures included eight titles: LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Wartales, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Deep Rock Galactic, Full Throttle Remastered, Wildgate, and Dead Static Drive. One more game, Grim Fandango Remastered, was subsequently added to the list, meaning one-third of the October 31 removals are remasters of classic Double Fine adventures.

The final batch of Xbox Game Pass additions for the month arrived on October 29, introducing four new titles and bringing the month’s total to 17. With the October 31 removals set to push the departure count to 19, the service will end the month with a small net deficit of two games.

The next wave of Xbox Game Pass removals will be unusual in terms of timing, as it is scheduled for November 10 rather than the middle of the month. Football Manager 26 and Football Manager 26 – Console Edition are set to depart that day, exactly one year and six days after originally debuting on the service.

The standard November 15 removal wave is still expected to happen, although its contents likely will not be announced until early next month. Based on Microsoft’s established announcement cadence, Tuesday, November 3, is the likeliest date for the mid-month departures to be revealed. As usual, the full list should accompany the Wave 1 lineup announcement for the month ahead. The Xbox Game Pass releases for November 2026 are already confirmed to include four titles: Football Manager 27, Thronefall, Pit of Goblin, and Gravhounds.
