The controversy began after footage circulated on October 14 showing Lavlune, also known as FoidElf, appearing to grab her dog near its head and throw it toward the floor. Charlie criticized the incident in his video Completely Unacceptable.
Lavlune disputed his description of the footage, while her Kick channel became unavailable amid reports of a ban. Her response also included insults about Charlie’s hair, jawline, and personal hygiene.

In his October 16 video, Responding to the Weird Lady, Charlie said he initially hadn’t planned to revisit the controversy.
However, he explained that her response persuaded him to address it again, before responding to the personal insults directly.
Charlie countered her comments about his hygiene by pointing to Cheeky, his company that sells soap and deodorant. He then turned her criticism of his appearance back on her.
“Your hair looks cell-shaded; you look like you’re straight out of Borderlands from the neck up,” he said.
Charlie also criticized the amount of product in her hair and accused her of having “no self-awareness whatsoever” over the insults.
Separately, Lavlune has maintained that Charlie misrepresented what happened to her dog. She claimed the animal spun as she put it down and denied bending it backward.
“His feet were on the ground the entire time!” she said in her response to his original criticism.
Following Charlie’s latest upload, Lavlune posted “Holy f*** I won” on X. Her Kick channel remained unavailable when checked on October 17, although the platform’s channel page provided no explanation for its removal.
