On September 14, 2026, Twitch streamer The88thBarron went live on the platform for his “Subathon Day 63.” During the broadcast, the streamer cycled along Ireland’s coastline while documenting his camping journey. At one point, the streamer received an unexpected visit from his father, whom he said he had not seen in nearly two decades. His father approached the camera and revealed that he had been watching his son’s livestreams. He then said he was proud of him, stating:
“I’ve been watching you. I’m very proud of you. I’ve liked what you’ve done. I like your whole philosophy towards everything. Pretty proud actually. That’s really all I wanted to say. I’m glad to see you looking so well and happy…. It’s just bizarre; all of a sudden, everything has come together.”
