Bitlife has another challenge to tackle. The Gold Digger Challenge is back and will run for seven days. Unlike most Bitlife challenges, this one only has four tasks.
In the Gold Digger challenge, you have to make money without ever getting a job, marry a few wealthy people, make more than $1 million from divorces, and eventually get yourself a Lamborghini. Here’s how you can complete every step of the new Gold Digger challenge in Bitlife.
Bitlife’s Gold Digger Challenge Tasks
Here’s what you need to do in the Gold Digger challenge this week:
- Never have a job
- Marry 3+ times
- Get $1m+ from spouses through divorce
- Own a Lamborghini.
The Gold Digger Challenge can be tricky because you have to make a lot of money without ever having a job. You can technically start with either gender, but I recommend choosing a female character. There’s a good reason for that, which I’ll get into when we reach the third step.
You also don’t need any premium pack to finish this challenge. If you do have the premium features, though, I’d recommend giving your character high looks from the start. It can make finding wealthy spouses a bit easier later on. Don’t have premium? That’s fine too. You can still work on your looks as you age.
How to Never Have a Job in Bitlife
This is probably the easiest task in the challenge. All you have to do is never take a job. That includes part-time jobs too. But the tricky part is that you still need money for the rest of the challenge. Luckily, there are a few ways to make some without getting a job. Crimes unlock when your character turns eight, so you can do things like burglary to make some cash. You can also ask your parents for money when you are younger.
Freelance gigs don’t count as jobs, so you can take on a few of those if you need money.
While you are aging up, don’t forget about your looks. You’ll be trying to marry wealthy people later, so having good looks can make that easier. Go for regular walks, hit the gym once it unlocks, and visit the salon. I believe the gym becomes available around age 12. These are some easy ways to keep your looks in good shape without spending a fortune.
How to Marry Rich in Bitlife
This is where the challenge gets a little more interesting. You need to get married at least three times, and the goal is to find wealthy men so you can get a decent amount of money when you divorce them later.
As soon as your character turns 18, head to Activities > Love > Dating App. Don’t leave this until later, since you will need to go through the marriage and divorce process at least three times. The Dating App lets you set things like your preferred age and net worth, which makes finding a suitable partner much easier.
Here’s a trick that worked well for me: look for older men, preferably around 70 to 79 years old. They tend to have plenty of savings, which is exactly what you want for the divorce settlements later. The goal is not to find the youngest or best looking partner. It’s to find someone with a big wallet.
When the game shows you a potential partner, you’ll see their looks, smarts, money, and craziness stats. Looks and smarts don’t really matter here. Pay much more attention to money and craziness. Try to find someone with high money and low craziness. From my experience, highly crazy characters are more likely to ask for a prenup, and that’s something you really don’t want when you are trying to make money from the divorce.
Once you’ve found a good candidate, start building the relationship. Compliment him, go to the movies together, and keep spending time with him until the relationship is high enough. Then propose. I’d try proposing without a ring first. If he says no, try again with a ring. And if that still doesn’t work, getting pregnant can sometimes help with the marriage proposal. Once he finally says yes, plan the wedding and get married.
After that, you will eventually need to divorce him and repeat the whole process with another wealthy man. Do it three times, and you’ll have this challenge step checked off.
How to Get One Million From Spouses Through Divorce in Bitlife
Once you are married, one thing I recommend doing is having children with your spouse. From my experience, being pregnant or having children with them can lead to a bigger divorce settlement. This is also why I’d stick with a female character for this challenge.
After you’ve been married for a year or two, you can file for divorce from the Relationships tab. If you have picked spouses with a high net worth, you should get a decent amount of money from the settlement. The exact amount is not always the same, though.
After getting your money from one spouse, you should try spending some of it before getting married again. Gambling is one option, or you can give gifts to friends and family. You basically don’t want your character to be sitting on millions when the next divorce happens.
Since you are specifically looking for older spouses, there’s always a chance that one of them will die before you get the chance to divorce them. You’ll inherit their money, but inheritance doesn’t count toward the $1 million needed for this challenge. If that happens, you will have to find another wealthy spouse and try again.
How to Get a Lamborghini in Bitlife
By this point, you should have plenty of money, so buying a Lamborghini is the easy part. Go to Assets > Shopping and check the car dealerships there. If you don’t see a Lamborghini, you can age up and check the dealerships again. Buy one to complete the Gold Digger Challenge.
