36-year-old Jennifer Eckhart has passed away, and local law enforcement ruled the death of the former Fox News producer a suicide.
Jennifer Eckhart, a former Fox News producer turned podcaster, has died by suicide. On September 19, 2026, local law enforcement and emergency responders were alerted to her home in Hobe Sound. According to Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek, there were no signs of foul play, and Eckhart took her own life.
“Looking at the scene and going through the investigation, we spent a lot of time. We investigated it as if it was a homicide. But it is not. It’s a suicide. Unfortunately, she took her life at her own hands,”
As a high-profile producer, Eckhart rose to fame and popularity for her work. However, she gained notoriety after she accused Ed Henry of alleged sexual assault in 2020. After leaving the network, she started her podcast journey.
