Controversial far-right streamer Myron Gaines denies systemic racism, claims that “Black victimhood” is the oppressor.
On September 22, 2026, controversial far-right podcaster Myron Gaines reshared a post highlighting his debate with college students. Five days earlier, the YouTube channel Uncensored America uploaded a video titled “MYRON GAINES Debates Students at ASU | Prove Me Wrong (Part 3).” A clip from the video was posted by popular X user @VigilantFox. The post received over a thousand likes, and Gaines reposted it. He said:
“Black victimhood is the #1 thing oppressing black Americans. Not “sYsTeMiC rAciSm.”
For context, the YouTube video shows the far-right podcaster debating college students at ASU. Throughout the debate, and in his broader online presence, Myron Gaines has argued that systemic racism is not to blame for Black Americans’ shortcomings, and has often demanded that they take personal responsibility for their actions. One student pushed back on these views.
Challenging Gaines’ views on the matter, the student said that systemic racism is still a problem and has not disappeared, contrary to what the streamer claims. He also said that certain neighborhoods have relied on the same survival methods for generations, as they have historically been victims of discrimination.
“Why would you call that a victim mentality? If you’re denying the fact that there are things that held Black people back that still continue to live today…. Systemic racism still exists; people in neighborhoods that have lived for a history of time, they’ve had the same practice because that’s the survival methods that their families have used for years.”
Myron Gaines responded to the student’s argument and shared his thoughts on the matter. In his view, the far-right podcaster said Black people tend to blame their problems on others. The streamer also spoke about the influence of hip-hop music on younger generations. He said:
“Black people b***** and complain and blame all their issues on other people. They want, ‘We need reparations this, slavery this, systemic racism that, critical race theory this.’ Here’s the real problem, we don’t have the nuclear family in a Black household, we have degenerate music that pushes being a gang member and being a criminal.”

On August 28, 2026, the official X account for Uncensored America posted a clip from one of streamer Myron Gaines’ debates with college students. In the debate, a student pointed out that Black Americans hold less wealth on average than their white or Asian counterparts. Gaines responded by suggesting that Black people themselves were to blame. The far-right podcaster also said that Black Americans complain about racism rather than taking responsibility. He said:
“This is literally why everyone laughs at f****** Blacks. I don’t know if you saw a bunch of n***** in the back are laughing at you. All you got is excuses and complaints as to why you’re a f****** failure. How is it that people come here from Africa, don’t speak the language, and figure it out and become successful? Meanwhile, we got these guys coming out, ‘Oh, racism.’ It’s clown world, bro.”
