On September 16, 2026, controversial far-right podcaster Myron Gaines responded to a highlight from his recent debate after he received backlash for wanting to bring back slavery. On the same day, YouTube channel Uncensored America uploaded a video titled MYRON GAINES Debates Students at ASU | Prove Me Wrong (Part 2).
A snippet of the YouTube video was posted by popular X user @WyronGaines on X. This post received over a thousand likes on the platform, with the controversial podcaster reposting the video. He said:
“Make slavery great again!”
The video consisted of Gaines debating college students at ASU. At one point, the podcaster began debating slavery with a mixed race black student. The two had a contentious conversation that even led to bringing up Gaines’ mother. The student said:
“You wanna say that Black women should be slaves, fat people should be slaves, idiots should be slaves, and you have all these young black men standing back here. We’re out of college, you’re not around idiotic Black women. You’re around educated, smart Black women…. What are you? We just looked it up, you’re Sudanese. Where’s your Sudanese mother? What would she be?”
The college student began asking questions about the podcaster’s mother, including her marital and educational background. Claiming that his mother “is not an idiot,” Gaines went on to respond to her questions, stating:
“She’s [Myron Gaines’ mother] not an idiot. No, [she’s not college-educated], which is why she’s not an idiot. Yes, she is [married]. She’s still with my dad to this day. She’s not an idiot. She prioritized having a family and raising her kids over an education and being a w****.”

In the same debate, podcaster Myron Gaines went on to debate students who challenged him on his narrative on crime. He stated his opinion that Black men often blame their problems on other people. Claiming that “there’s no accountability,” he said:
“Here’s the problem with n*****, bro. There’s no accountability. It’s like, ‘Yo, it’s systemic racism, it’s the white man, it’s segregation, we need our reparations, blah blah.’ No one is putting a gun to your head to commit crimes…. It’s you being a f****** d*** n****, that’s why…. Black men need to hear this, stop blaming your problems on other people.”
