Shock Top and Spirit Halloween are teaming up for spooky season with a new beer inspired by one of Halloween’s most recognizable candies.
The beer brand has launched Shock Top Candy Corn Wheat, a limited-edition wheat ale that combines its signature beer with the flavor of candy corn.
The collaboration is part of a wider Halloween partnership between Shock Top and Spirit Halloween, which also includes a new costume based on Shock Top’s Wedgehead mascot.

Shock Top Candy Corn Wheat is a 5% ABV seasonal release that blends the brand’s wheat beer with candy corn flavor.
The limited-edition beer is rolling out at retailers nationwide for the Halloween season, although Shock Top has not announced how long it will remain available.
“Shock Top is known for celebrating bold flavor, spirited gatherings and moments that catch people by surprise, and there’s no better occasion for that than Halloween,” Shock Top Senior Brand Manager Jacob Neilson said.
“Partnering with Spirit, the most iconic name in Halloween, gave us the chance to dream up something hauntingly good that celebrates everything fans love about the season.”
Spirit Halloween is also releasing a Shock Top Wedgehead costume as part of the collaboration. The costume turns the beer brand’s orange slice mascot into a wearable jumpsuit and is available exclusively through Spirit Halloween’s website for $69.99.
“Spirit fans don’t just celebrate Halloween; they live for it, and we’re always looking for new ways to surprise them,” Spirit Halloween Executive Vice President and General Merchandise Manager Kym Sarkos said.
“Pairing the launch of Shock Top’s Candy Corn Wheat Ale with our exclusive Wedgehead costume delivers the exact kind of head-turning, unexpected fun our fans are obsessed with.”
Shock Top isn’t the only alcohol brand turning familiar flavors into drinks in 2026. BuzzBallz recently teamed up with Pop-Tarts to launch two 15% ABV cocktails based on Frosted S’mores and Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon.
The Pop-Tarts-inspired drinks began arriving at liquor stores in August, adding another food-inspired crossover to shelves ahead of Shock Top’s candy corn beer for Halloween.
