Boruto: 6 New Gen Ninjas Who Can Surpass The Hokage, Officially Ranked

The Hokage is a prestigious position in Konoha that can only be assumed by the most powerful, reliable, and wise individual in the village. Over the years, some legendary figures have taken over the position of Hokage, including the likes of Hashirama Senju, Minato Namikaze, Hiruzen Sarutobi, and even Naruto Uzumaki, among many others.

Generally, the Hokage is the strongest shinobi of the village, but that’s not to say that all strong ninjas of a village end up becoming the Hokage. At times, there are individuals who, despite reaching levels far greater than the Hokage, never end up becoming the Kage themselves. In the new age of the shinobi, that is, in the Boruto era, there are quite a few ninjas in Konoha that have already surpassed the level of an average Kage. Many others have the potential to surpass this stature as well.

Mitsuki

In the post-timeskip events of the Boruto series, Mitsuki stands as one of the most powerful ninjas that Konoha has. Mitsuki has access to powerful Sage Transformation, as well as advanced genetics thanks to experimentation by Orochimaru. Mitsuki is an incredibly powerful ninja who can even hold his own against Boruto Uzumaki to a certain extent. While he’s not as strong as Boruto, he is still far stronger than the average Kage.

In fact, the acting Hokage of Konoha, Shikamaru Nara, isn’t all that strong, and Mitsuki can easily deal with him in combat. Even some other Hokage of Konoha that have existed over the years, such as Tobirama Senju, Tsunade Senju, and potentially even Kakashi Hatake, can all be surpassed and beaten by Mitsuki as he currently is. He still has even more potential to grow further, and if he is able to keep up with Boruto and Sarada, which is very likely, then he will have left the vast majority of the Hokage in the dust in the future. Mitsuki’s future is quite exciting in Naruto, and we are eagerly waiting to follow it.

Himawari Uzumaki

Himawari Uzumaki is a very talented ninja, and as the daughter of Naruto Uzumaki, she was born with tremendous potential. Himawari’s story was largely ignored in the first part of the Boruto series, but it was given profound importance when she was made the next inheritor of Kurama’s powers. Although Kurama died when Naruto fought against Isshiki using Baryon Mode, he was reincarnated inside of Himawari. Interestingly enough, Himawari and Kurama have become one and now exist as one body and soul.

Himawari is not a Jinchuriki; she is, in fact, a manifestation of Kurama, just as Kurama is a manifestation of her powers, and this makes her a Tailed Beast Incarnation. In other words, Himawari is incredibly powerful, and her potential with Kurama even surpasses that of Naruto Uzumaki. She’s already stronger than the vast majority of the Kage, given that she could trade blows with Jura, and her future will see her becoming one of the most powerful ninjas of all time, if not the strongest.

Sarada Uchiha

Sarada Uchiha is yet another powerful Konohamaru Naruto has surpassed the vast majority of the most powerful Hokage. This was made possible by her awakening the ability of Ohirume, which allows her to create four powerful black holes with strength enough to crush even the likes of the Otsutsuki. Sarada’s overall Mangekyo powers surpass those of even Sasuke, and that paints quite a picture as to how strong she truly is.

What’s more, Sarada has yet to awaken her second Mangekyo ability and hasn’t even tapped into the power of the Susanoo yet. She still has a lot of potential to fulfill as a ninja, and as the Boruto series continues, her overall strength will continue to grow as well. Sarada has already left the vast majority of the Hokage in the dust, but she will go on to attain even further powers and widen this gap between them. By the end of the Boruto series, she intends to become the 9th Hokage of Konoha and, to that end, will go on to claim this position and establish herself as potentially the strongest Hokage of all time.

Boruto Uzumaki

The protagonist of the series, Boruto Uzumaki, has left the Hokage in the dust long ago. Boruto was born with tremendous potential thanks to having inherited the chakra of both Naruto and Hinata. Later on, he also inherited the Karma from Momoshiki Otsutsuki. Boruto was also trained by Sasuke Uchiha and, in the timeskip, by Kashin Koji as well.

Right now, Boruto exists as the strongest shinobi in the entire world, with enough power to eclipse even the likes of Code in battle. Right now, Boruto is stronger than the Five Kage combined, and there is no Hokage in history that can stand up to him in battle other than Naruto Uzumaki. When utilizing the power of his Karma and bringing out Momoshiki’s abilities to the absolute fullest, even Naruto would struggle to deal with Boruto in combat, and that just goes to show how dangerous he truly is. What’s even scarier is that Boruto still has potential to grow even further as a shinobi, and in the next few years, he will continue his growth as a powerful ninja.

Kawaki

Kawaki was taken in by Naruto Uzumaki and adopted into the Uzumaki household. He is an incredibly powerful ninja who, despite not knowing many ninja arts, is still incredibly powerful. Kawaki relies primarily on the Karma of Isshiki Otsutsuki in battle. He has fully manifested the power of Kokugan and can control both Sukunahikona and Daikokuten with great precision.

Kawaki is incredibly strong and no less than Isshiki Otsutsuki in terms of power. After the timeskip, his abilities have matured fully, and he stands as one of the most powerful ninjas in the entire world. Kawaki can easily defeat not just the Hokage, but also all Five Kage combined. His strength even eclipses legendary figures such as Madara Uchiha, and that paints quite a picture as to how strong he truly is.

Daemon

While technically not a ninja of Konoha, Daemon is a citizen of the village who is also incredibly powerful. He also lends his strength to Konoha shinobi when need be, which means he can temporarily be considered a Konoha shinobi.

Damon is incredibly strong, given that he holds access to some abilities of Shibai Otsutsuki. His combat abilities are incredibly high, likely even above the likes of Naruto Uzumaki. Above all, he has a very powerful Shinjutsu at his disposal that allows him to reflect any damage dealt to him, including mere killing intent. Daemon’s abilities are incredibly dangerous and make him one of the strongest in the entire world, whom hardly anyone can rival in combat.
