In light of Asmongold’s recent ban on Twitch, left-wing political commentator Hasan Piker took the time to explain to Elon Musk the differences between them. On August 9, 2026, the streamer reposted the trillionaire’s post questioning the double standards of Twitch. The trillionaire wonders how the decision-making process was like to ban certain creators on the platform.

“because the great replacement (which im making fun of here) is not real, and asmongold urged people to shoot and kill migrant children, which is very real,”

The left-wing political commentator stated he is making fun of white genocide, a concept that is not real. On the other hand, Asmongold went on record to shoot immigrant children to prevent them from entering their borders.

After Asmongold was prohibited from streaming on Twitch, trillionaire Elon Musk went online and shared his opinion on his X account. Elon Musk believes the streaming platform has double standards for banning Asmongold for his opinions and not doing the same to Hasan Piker.

While Asmongold is coming from a place that wants to protect his country from ‘invaders,’ Hasan claims all he said in the past was to poke fun at something that isn’t real. From his perspective, there is a clear difference between him and Asmongold, and their controversial statements are in a different league. Asmongold’s ban will only last for two weeks, which means he can return and resume his streaming schedule soon.
