Lay’s is launching two chocolate-covered potato chip flavors for the holidays, including one inspired by the viral Dubai chocolate trend.
The company announced its new Holi-LAY’S lineup on October 19, featuring five limited-time flavors inspired by traditional holiday dishes and desserts.
The collection includes two chocolate-covered varieties alongside three savory flavors, with the first products arriving in stores later this month and the rest rolling out through December.
Lay’s reveals five new holiday potato chip flavors
The new Lay’s Wavy Milk Chocolate and Wavy Dubai-Style Dark Chocolate Covered Potato Chips will arrive at select retailers on December 1, with availability expanding in 2027.
The Milk Chocolate variety features Lay’s signature Wavy potato chips covered in milk chocolate, combining sweet and salty flavors.
Meanwhile, the Dubai-Style Dark Chocolate version pairs dark chocolate and pistachios with Wavy potato chips, inspired by the Dubai chocolate trend that has spread across social media.
Both chocolate-covered varieties will initially be available at select retailers, although Lay’s has not announced specific stores or pricing.
Alongside the chocolate-covered chips, Lay’s is introducing three savory flavors inspired by holiday meals.
Lay’s Cheddar Scalloped-Style Potatoes and Roasted Holiday Turkey will launch nationwide on October 25. The former features a creamy, cheesy potato flavor, while the latter combines roasted turkey and gravy flavors.
Lay’s Maple Bacon will follow on November 8, marking the flavor’s first appearance on US store shelves. It combines sweet maple and smoky bacon flavors.
“The holidays are all about gathering around the table with friends and family, and food plays an important role in those celebrations,” said Denise Truelove, Senior Vice President of Marketing at PepsiCo Foods.
“With this year’s Holi-LAY’S lineup, we’re bringing fans flavors inspired by courses on the holiday table, so they can taste the joy of the holiday season before the table has been set and after it’s been cleared.”
Lay’s is also launching its Happy Holi-Lay’s Sweepstakes on October 26, letting customers scan codes on qualifying chip bags or enter on the company’s website.
Prizes include branded chip bowls, a sweater, a charcuterie set, a Lay’s x Le Creuset casserole dish, and a multicooker.
