After the reveal of this year’s nominees for Streamer of the Year, several social media users shared their honest reactions.
Following the reveal of the full list of nominees for Streamer of the Year, several users shared their honest and funny reactions. This is the main award for The Streamer Awards, an annual event celebrating the accomplishments of various content creators. Certain users were proud to see their favorite creators, such as IShowSpeed, Jynxzi, Stable Ronaldo, CaseOh, and Joe Bartolozzi, get the recognition they deserve, while others were not too happy about the exclusion of certain figures, like Asmongold.
“Where is Asmongold?” X user @ncbscotts asked.
“Asmongold has ranked in the top 10 most-watched Twitch streamers globally and in North America for multiple individual months (including January, February, May, and September 2026) as well as finishing in the global top 3 for Q1 2026. Yet no nominee…,” X user @PaulCommsX remarked.
“Interesting how they don’t have Asmongold or other streamers like Ibai who have pulled much more higher numbers or better events than any of these people save Speed.” X user @Dannyzerk wrote.
“Look man, I don’t even watch Speed, but dude absolutely wins this year. What other streamer has enough global clout to [expletive] perform at the World Cup?” X user @gritsngoblins stated.
Other users were satisfied with the nominees and even expressed which streamer they were voting for.
“I mean, I think CaseOh hasn’t been dethroned but at the same time I think someone else should get the same award he got last year lol,” X user @CocoLimePizza commented.
“Ohh peanut is not here, i wonder why. Caseoh wins this year, Speed won last year…,” X user @gleykon1122 replied.
“i would say speed but Jynxzi’s been way more consistent and throwing all kinds of events. I say Jynxzi should win, and he streams daily. Speed is beyond streaming with the world cup, but also less frequent streaming,” X user @Julius7630 said.
“so we have 2 options, speed or caseoh,” X user @Mattamus111 wrote.
