The goal of Chapter 5 in Halloween: The Game is to get out of town before you get caught. However, if you can risk it, there are some collectibles you should pick up before you go. To find the last 3 Loomis Log recordings of the game, you have to return to the scenes of your crimes. Like chapter 4, there are 3 here instead of 2 like the first four levels, and you’ll find their locations here.
Chapter 5 Collectibles Locations
Loomis Log #1 (Annie’s Room)
If you go back to the Wallace house, where you watched Annie and her friends Bob and Lynda, there’s a glow on the nightstand where the recording is supposed to be. However, it currently seems to be glitched and actually shows up by the window. So if you see the glow but not the recording, just walk to the window in the room, and you should be able to pick up the floating collectible from there.
You cannot pick up collectibles from the previous chapter even though the map is the same. The chapter 4 collectibles have to be received in chapter 4 and will not appear in chapter 5.
Loomis Log #2 (Laurie’s House)
The home you just escaped from also has a new collectible to gather inside. There are a lot of police in the area to watch out for, and remember to keep an eye on the moving red light on your map indicating where Dr. Loomis is. In the previous chapter, the Loomis Log in Laurie’s home was on the dining table. This one is located in the same room, but on a little table in the corner of the room instead.
Loomis Log #3 (Home Across From the Basketball Court)
On the map, you’ll see a basketball court on the north side of the neighborhood. To the East of the basketball court is a home Michael can enter. There are a lot of police around the parks and basketball court too, so going around and up the street to the East is the best way to avoid them if you’re looking to dodge them for now.
Once you’re inside, go to the main level of the house and find the living room toward the front of the home. In the corner of the living room, behind the couch, there is a hutch. On the shelf of the hutch sits your final collectible recording.
If you’ve picked up all 3 from the last level and 2 from all the levels before that, you now have all the Loomis Logs and Recording collectibles!
