Twitch streamer YonnaJay has sparked backlash after her recent stream ended with her ice cream truck being towed for allegedly parking illegally on a street. During the incident, she confronted the tow truck worker and appeared frustrated over the vehicle being removed.
The situation quickly drew criticism from viewers, with one fan writing:
“always knew she was a weirdo if he gets a call he has to tow the car it’s legit his job”
The reaction came as viewers questioned why the streamer directed her anger toward the worker, who repeatedly explained that he was simply carrying out his duties.
YonnaJay Threatens Tow Truck Driver With Lawsuit
YonnaJay could be heard telling the driver that she had only been there for around 25 minutes and that the vehicle was not even hers. She also complained about the way he was handling the towing process:
“I don’t know why you got an attitude with me. This isn’t even my truck to be playing around. Imagine someone took your vehicle out, and now it’s getting towed. I was here for only, like, 25 minutes”
The driver reportedly told YonnaJay that he was just doing his job and directed her to contact the relevant number to retrieve the vehicle. Rather than ending the confrontation, she responded,
“Be expecting your lawsuit then.”
YonnaJay later added sarcastically,
“Dang it, I don’t have any lawyers either.”
The exchange has since prompted criticism from viewers who argued that the tow truck worker was simply following instructions after the vehicle was reportedly parked illegally.
