How to Get & Level Up the Crown Sprite in Fortnite

This unique Sprite in Fortnite Override (Chapter 7 Season 4) can only be acquired with a Victory Royale, and leveling it up is going to take plenty of skill. The Crown Sprite doesn’t do all that much except showcase your mastery of a Victory Royale, and we’ll explain more below!

How to Get & Level Up the Crown Sprite in Fortnite

The Crown Sprite can only be acquired with a Victory Royale. As soon as you win a match of Battle Royale or Zero Build, the Crown Sprite will be added to your collection. You don’t need to pick it up, and you can never find it through cheat codes. It can also be acquired through bot lobbies!

To level up the Crown Sprite, you must win matches. However, the Crown Sprite will not level up in bot lobbies; it must be a regular match of Battle Royale or Zero Build. If you have a Victory Crown from winning a previous match, winning will reward you with an instant level-up.

To safely level up the Crown Sprite, you can either rely on bush camping or try to play with your friends who have low skill-based matchmaking lobbies. But again, if it’s a bot lobby, the Crown Sprite will not level up, and getting eliminated will reset the Crown Sprite’s level to 1.

What Does the Crown Sprite Do in Fortnite?

The Crown Sprite doesn’t actually do anything. It has no special effects like the other Sprite variants. However, the Crown Sprite will upgrade itself into new variants once you get it to Level 5. So far, the Crown Sprite will become the Cheat Master Crown Sprite when you reach Level 5 (which is 5 wins with 5 Victory Crowns), and it’s expected that more updates will mean you can then level up the Cheat Master Crown Sprite to get the next variant.
