Hatsune Miku is getting her own Okinawa vacation package that lets fans book flights and hotels around a six-week event filled with themed food, merchandise, and a citywide stamp rally.
The virtual singer will return to the Japanese island for CHURA MIKU STREET 2026, which runs from November 1 through December 13 across Naha’s Kokusai Street and the surrounding Shuri area.
Organizers previously held the event in 2025, but this year’s version is expanding beyond Kokusai Street as Shuri Castle prepares to reopen its reconstructed main hall.
A fire destroyed the castle’s main buildings on October 31, 2019. After seven years of reconstruction, Shuri Castle’s main hall will reopen to the public on November 23, partway through the Miku campaign.

According to the official announcement, travelers in Japan can choose between a hotel-only booking or a package combining accommodations and airfare.
Reservations opened on August 19 and will remain available until September 23, although bookings may close early if the available allocation is filled. Travel must take place during the event’s November 1 to December 13 window.
Fans who book either option will receive three exclusive items: a social media-style acrylic keychain, a scarf towel, and a clear bottle. The merchandise must be collected from a designated pickup location, with further instructions sent to travelers after booking.
The vacation package is only one part of the wider CHURA MIKU STREET campaign. A stamp rally and Miku-themed food will connect Kokusai Street with the Shuri district, encouraging visitors to explore the area’s history, culture, crafts, and local cuisine.
New campaign artwork also dresses Miku in an outfit incorporating motifs inspired by Shuri Castle, Okinawa’s traditional Eisa dance, and the deigo flower. Japanese shoe and bag brand DIANA designed the footwear featured in the illustration.
Official merchandise and collaborative souvenirs will also be sold throughout the campaign, although the complete product lineup and participating restaurants have not yet been announced.
Organizers are also planning a free Hatsune Miku greeting event in Naha on December 12. Attendees will be allowed to take photos and videos during the appearance.
The Okinawa package continues a busy run of unusual Miku collaborations. The virtual singer recently took over a Tokyo Metro train and hotel room, appeared in a full bathhouse experience, and even received her own singing calculator.
